Issues

I am committed to addressing the issues impacting our schools and community. My priorities will focus on the following areas.

- academic emphasis on decision making

-access to high-quality programs for ALL students

- closing the achievement gaps between student subgroups.

- allocating resources to get the work done.

Focus on attracting families to our schools by:

- building community awareness of what our schools have to offer

- marketing our schools (signs, mailers, social media, etc.)

- celebrating successes! Only focusing on our problems does NOT attract the community to our schools!

- ensuring our schools are welcoming and inviting while maintaining safety

- incentivize parent involvement

- improve communication on opportunities to get involved

- students and families first

- supporting needs of teaching staff

- collaborating with administrators

- improve communication and transparency with families and the community at large
